There is a lot that goes into the process of making my Magickal Wax Melts and candles. It is not just ‘melt & pour’ in my witchy kitchen.
All my wax is blessed as soon as I receive it.
When I am preparing to craft, I fully cleanse my working area and set my sacred space. This sets the right vibrations for magick but also calls in protection while I work.
I measure out the amount wax I need, this is charged with intent and placed in the centre of a large flower of life grid. Along with herbal spell mixes that I will have made just before measuring out the wax.
I then measure out the fragrance/essentials oils that I need, and mica if being used. These are charged with intent and placed on the flower of life grid along with the herbal spell mixes and wax. Clear Quartz points are placed around the containers, facing inwards to amplify the energy of the oils.
Magickal symbols and sigils are drawn over the wax, oils and herbal spell mixes before I begin.
Every part of crafting wax melts and candles is done with focused intentions to make sure they are as magickally charged as possible.
When they have finished cooling, they are set on my working altar and infused with crystal energy for a set amount of time. Some might be there for 3 days, others a full month.
Depending on the intention of the wax melt or candle, I often use specific days to call in the energies needed to add an extra energetic layer. Protection wax melts for example, are usually made on a Saturday and they are infused with protection crystals such as Black Tourmaline. While Love wax melts are made on Fridays and are infused with Rose Quartz crystals.
When wax melts are ready to go to their new homes, they are charged with intention again, in my sacred space as well as infusing them with Reiki.
As you can see, there is a lot that goes into making Magickal Wax Melts and Intention Candles. Not only do they smell divine, but they really are infused with so much magick.
