Postage is forever creeping up in price and over the course of a month, you can spend a fortune on postage alone! My Witches Jar’s for example, cost £3.68 to send 1st class. Many of my customers order more than one item throughout each month. I dread to think how much they pay for postage over that period.
Open box services are popping up in a lot of online shops now, so I wanted to offer it as an option to help you save money on your postage in my shop.
The open box service is where you only pay for one amount of postage across multiple orders placed throughout the month.
How does the open box service work?
You simply place the items you want in your basket as you normally would and head over to the checkout and pay for the items (minus the postage). All items purchased are made as usual and are added to your reserved box until you are ready to complete your order and have your box sent to you.
How do I choose the open box service?
At the checkout, select the ‘Add to open box’. You can add to your box as many times as you want to over the month.
When you are ready to close your box, select the ‘Close my box & send’ option at the checkout. You will then be charged a flat rate postage amount. Your box will then be closed and sent to you. All UK orders are sent special delivery. Overseas orders are sent International Tracked and Signed.
Please note: You will NOT receive your box until you complete the checkout using the ‘Close my box & send’ option. Your box will need to be closed and the postage paid for within one month. If you need an extension on this time, please contact me to discuss.
Please keep in mind that the actual postage amount could be more than the flat rate charged or it could be less. If it is less, any overpayments on postage will be refunded back to you. If it is more, I will cover the rest.
